Tokyo Disneyland just announced that a Frozen themed nighttime castle projection show is on the way to the park and will be appearing for a limited time early in 2017.

Between January 13 and March 17 2017 the 15 minute show will be projected onto the castle with brand new technology that will make it seem more ‘three-dimensional’. The show will of course have all of the hit songs from the movie and also contain a fireworks display for the ending.

There are rumours circulating right now that the previously announced Frozen Land at Tokyo Disney has received a delay and will no longer be opening in 2017, instead the opening is rumoured to have been pushed back to 2021. If this were true it would make sense for Disney to fill the gap in 2017 with this show, also part of wider Frozen celebrations at the park titled: Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Fantasy.

While it is great to see a new show making its way (if only temporarily) to the park I am pretty fed up with Disney’s constant need to throw Frozen in front of park guests!
