Following on from the announcement that Disney would be offering guests an opportunity to pay for 3 hours extra in the park (Disney After Hours), rumours are circulating that a similar early morning offering is also going to be made available, for a cost of course.

Early Morning Magic

Kenny the Pirate reported earlier in the week that Disney would be allowing guests into the Magic Kingdom up to 75 minutes before other guests get into the park. This means that guests would start filtering into the park at around 7:45 in the morning.

Of course, there is a catch…

Prices are set to be around $69 for adults and $49 for kids excluding tax and general park admission. On top of this, most of the park will be shut with access only to:

  • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
  • Peter Pan’s Flight

Also included in the $69 is a buffet breakfast at Pinocchio’s  Village Haus which will include scrambled eggs and Mickey waffles.

I would like to stress that at this stage, Disney has not confirmed anything so take everything with a pinch of salt though it would seem this wouldn’t be replacing Extra Magic Hours and would be running on a separate day.

In my opinion $69 seems incredibly expensive for simply being able to ride 3 attractions and a buffet breakfast at Pinocchio’s.

Disney really do seem to be pushing it recently trying to get the extra revenue, would you pay $69 + tax to be in the parks 75 mins earlier in the morning?
