Tomorrow, Disney will be holding the first ever Disney PhotoPass Day at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Here’s a breakdown of the events…
Character interactions at Magic Kingdom and Epcot
At the Magic Kingdom, Pinocchio, Gideon and Foulfellow will be around to meet guests at Storybook Circus from 9am to 4pm and in Epcot new characters will appear alongside existing for the day:
- Mushu will appear alongside Mulan at the China Pavilion
- Dopey will appear alongside Snow White at the Germany Pavilion
- The Queen of Hearts will appear alongside Alice at the United Kingdom Pavilion
Disney PhotoPass Challenge
Get your photo taken by one of the many PhotoPass photographers at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World at each of the designated locations and then visit a PhotoPass sales center to be able to claim a free photo (whichever was your favourite from the day). I don’t really seeing this as being much of a challenge but hey, free stuff!
Complimentary Photo Locations
One location at each park in both Disneyland and Walt Disney World (as well as Disney Springs) will give guests the opportunity to have their photo taken and then be able to download or share that photo via the My Disney Experience App at no cost. Again, always good to have free stuff!
While the free photos don’t interest me a great deal (seems like a lot of work for one free photo), the special character interactions sound awesome! Let us know what you think of PhotoPass Day in the comments below!
